As I normally do, it was that time of year I was itching to sink my feet into some fresh snow – to hear the crunch of the hardened snow surface where our footsteps are the first. Any icy climb up Peak Hill overlooking Lake Coleridge was the solution.
The walk started up the shady hillside which quickly become an icy slope as the sun hadn’t yet climbed high enough into the sky. A few humerus slips in the snow and we reached the approximate 1250m summit. The views from the top were superb. What a perfect winter’s day we had with a blue sky and a turquoise lake to match!

You mean you actually voluntarily went looking for snow … epic. Me, I prefer warmer conditions … attached Madeira peak to peak at just over 1800 metres …. not a good one to realise that you’re getting old and suffer from vertigo ! Oops! [Image] [Image]

Keep hammering the list whilst brain and body are in sync … still satisfying but not so much fun when brain makes commitments body struggles to meet. Brian

So happy for you and Stephen to see and appreciate God’s creation. I will admit, it sure beats mini golfing in the rain!
